Service Projects

Goals:  To enhance community capacity in caring for dependents by strengthening the skills and support systems for carers and domestic helpers.

Objectives:

1. Empower carers and domestic helpers with essential first aid and caregiving skills through structured workshops.
2. Provide referrals to community resources and agency support services to assist carers in their caregiving responsibilities.

Implementation Plan:

1. Recruit participants through partnerships with NGOs, carers’ groups, and domestic helper networks.
2. Conduct needs assessments and design training focused on first aid, health‑care skills, and practical caregiving knowledge.
3. Provide “Train‑the‑Trainer” workshops to ensure consistent and quality instruction.
4. Deliver training sessions to carers through the trained instructors.
5. Collaborate with internal service units (e.g., MEL, MHPSS, A+ Gerontech) for appropriate support referrals.
6. Conduct evaluations to measure programme impact and guide enhancements.
7. Develop promotional materials to expand outreach to broader carer communities.
