Residents face multiple risks, including fire and home safety issues. Extreme weather events led by climate change, such as very hot days, heavy rainstorms, and tropical cyclones, have had a severe impact on Hong Kong. Currently, over 220,000 people are living in these unsuitable living conditions, making them more vulnerable and exposed to higher risks during extreme weather.
