Service Projects

Social Housing is a social initiative to relieve the pressure on those with urgent housing needs. Social housings aim to provide affordable housing to tenants who wait for public rental housing for long period or who have urgent living needs. During the tenancy period, tenants could enhance their daily living skills to improve their quality of life and contribute to society by participating in different social services. With the shared goals to enhance the resilience of the vulnerable groups and the community, this project aims to:

• Strengthen community members’ emergency preparedness and response capacity
• Enhance community members’ physical and mental health
• Enhance the social cohesion and connectedness of the community members with the community

We engage the residents and operating organizations of social housing from planning to implementation. Activities include but not limited to community carnival, thematic workshops, social activities, home visit and building a community support network.
