The Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot
We believe in the humanitarian values and fundamental principles advocated by the Red Cross Movement. At present, over 100 armed conflicts are ongoing worldwide, posing threats to civilians and escalating humanitarian crises, underscoring the critical importance of International Humanitarian Law more than ever. To address these challenges, the Hong Kong Red Cross and the International Committee of the Red Cross have been jointly organizing the "Asia-Pacific Red Cross International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition" since 2003. Over 1500 law students from over 20 countries/regions in the Asia Pacific have participated in the competition, with the goal of nurturing them into future leaders with a humanitarian outlook.
