Israel and Gaza Strip Humanitarian Operation
Since early October 2023, the escalation of Israel and Gaza Strip conflict has brought immense human suffering that are rarely seen in recent years. The intensive armed conflict has resulted in over 10,000 deaths and tens of thousands of people injured by now. At least 1.4 million people have been displaced. Towns, hospitals, and even shelters in Israel and the Gaza Strip have become targets of attacks.

The wealth gap in Hong Kong is severe, and the community's assistance to needy families is not sufficient to lift them out of their predicament. It is common for children from grassroots families to have financial difficulties that hinder their growth and development. The Hong Kong Red Cross is committed to serving the underprivileged. The donations raised by Red Square will be supporting the participation of Little Buddies for the needy families to equip students from P.1 – P.2 with positive humanity values, awareness to personal health and collaboration ability.
